Someone out there had it out for pregnant girls. As if it isn’t hard enough on them already, there is a disorder known as Pre-Eclampsia. Below, we will take a look at what this disorder is characterized by, how it effects you, and how to tell if you have it.

Pre-Eclampsia is a pregnancy disorder involving convulsions. It generally occurs after 20 weeks of pregnancy, and usually with the first child. And as I said before… someone had it out for pregnant girls, because if no signs or symptoms of pre-eclampsia occur, there is still possibilities of eclampsia, which can happen before, during, or after the labour process.

There is only one true way to tell if you are carrying the eclampsia disorder; Eclamptic convulsions.

Uncomfortable Pregnant Woman

Eclamptic convulsions have a four stages of gruelling pain:

Stage 1 – Unless the woman is aware and watching for this stage, it is generally missed. In stage one the woman will simply roll her eyes, and simultanieously, her hand a face muscles will slightly twitch.
Stage 2 – Shortly after stage one, the teeth will clench, the arms and legs will go rigid, she can bite her tongue, and the face and hand muscles that where twitching will now be clenching. In this stage, the woman will also experiance loss of breath for approximatley 30 seconds.
Stage 3 – This is where it gets really bad. The muscles will begin to jerk violently, while frothy and slightly bloody saliva will appear. 2 minutes of this until it stops, and then there is a coma, or occasionally heart failure.
Stage 4 – If not dead, the woman will fall into a deep unconscious state. This can persist for hours, or pass quickly.

Clearly this is not anything to be letting pass by. if any of these symptoms occur, visit your doctor immediately. You could lose 2 lives if you are not properly treated or monitored.

Infertility is the case when couples try to conceive for a considerable time without any success. There are certain conditions that cause infertility to both men and women. Some are simple and easy to follow while others can be more complicated. These reasons for infertility range from the couple’s way of life, work environment, hereditary factors and even their hygiene.

The most common cause for infertility in men is having low count of sperm. There are several reasons for this but only a couple are medical in nature. This usually involves having a condition called variocele wherein sperms are shaped abnormally. The lifestyle of a man has an effect on his sperm count. Normally, men who are active smokers, alcoholic drinkers, and drug abusers have lower sperm count than those who don’t. Soaking in a hut tub and wearing too tight jeans may cause low sperm count in men. Luckily, there are certain treatments that are applicable to correct this issue.

Infertility

In women however, since they don’t produce sperm, ovulation is one of the main factor that causes infertility. For women, the most common factors for infertility are stress, age, and cervical deformities. A woman’s age is a major factor to contend with. A thirty years old and above woman is presumed to have low ovulation.

The best age group to have the best chance for ovulation is late teens and early twenties. It’s the peak of ovulation and the time when a woman is ripe for conception. Medical condition both at present and in the past can cause infertility in women. Other causes why women don’t conceive are previous infections, scar tissues, abnormal uterine lining, masses found in the uterus, and also blocked fallopian tubes.

Because infertility affects men and women, the first step to treatment is knowing who has the infertility problem. Given the long list of reasons for infertility, it may be that the both the couple would require medical attention. There are available medicines and health supplements in the market today for couples who have concerns with conception. Hence if you and your partner are still wondering why after all the effort you are still childless, it’s time you pay your doctor a visit now.

The little hand held Clear Plan Easy Fertility Monitor is designed to help you control your month-to-month menstrual cycle, gather hormonal biological samples by utilizing Clear Plan Easy Fertility Test Sticks, examining the data, and then display the results on its easy to read display screen. The daily results indicate exactly how fertile you are over the subsequent twenty four hours, enabling you to decide if it is the correct time to try and get pregnant.

How Does The ClearPlan Easy Fertility Monitor Perform?

The power of the Clear Plan Easy Fertility Monitor arises from being able to track two specific bodily hormones connected with your upcoming ovulation. By simply sensing the small incremental variations in these hormonal levels, the device will accurately predict where you are in your menstruating cycle. It will reliably predict as much as 6 days before ovulation, when you are in your “Peak” fertile phase and at essentially the most advantageous time for you to get pregnant. Additionally, it is able to calculate the 5 prior days when you are at the “High” fertile stage and might possibly conceive. With this information provided to you daily, you’ll have control in determining when it is right to get pregnant.

Just how do I Utilize the Clear Plan Easy Fertility Monitor?

Your Clear Plan Easy Fertility Monitor program is a two part approach which requires the use of Clear Plan Easy Fertility Test Sticks. Once you wake up each morning, merely turn the device on. The monitor will display just what day of the cycle you are on. Certain days prior to ovulation you will be directed to simply remove the wrapper from one of the test sticks and then urinate on it till soaked (about three to five seconds). After this you go ahead and take stick then place the wet end into the computer monitor. Within several minutes, after the unit has then analyzed the collect data from the stick, the results are shown on the display. Should it show 1 bar, that’ll signify that you’re in a low-level of fertility and in all likelihood cannot conceive. If 2 bars are displayed, that indicates that you are presently in your high level of fertility and it’s possible to conceive. When 3 bars are displayed you know that you are at your peak level, or at the phase that has the highest chance of becoming pregnant.

Pros:

Simple to use

Accuracy rate of 99%

Takes less than ten minutes each morning

Non-invasive

Safe to use.

Can be used even if ones cycle continues up to about six weeks

Cons:

Up front cost of the monitor is high

Must buy addition refill test sticks

In Summary

Your Clear Plan Easy Fertility Monitor system provides you with a day-to-day prediction of how fertile you will be over the next twenty four hours. Using this easy to use program requires only that on several days you need to urinate on a test stick, place it into the monitor and watch for results. The easy to understand display will indicate exactly where you are in your own cycle and exactly what days will be the most ideal to conceive.

Why has my baby still not come? The due date has come and gone but still no baby! You are wondering are there any natural ways to start your labour.

In the last few weeks of pregnancy it is so difficult to feel comfortable. You have tried every possible position and all of them are equally uncomfortable! You are probably feeling tired and irritable, maybe even depressed because you have waited for so long and still your labour has not started.

These next few paragraphs could possibly be the most critical information you need to read because there is a way to safely start labour, simply by pressing specific spots on your skin! Your labour could then start within 48 hours.

Maternity Accupressure, to use its official title, is a simple technique you can teach yourself and you don’t need to have any previous medical experience. Just learn where the key pressure points are and, without any side effects or medical intervention, you will discover how to start your labour naturally.

Acupressure has been actively used by millions of people for almost four thousand years. This ancient technique has also been studied in depth by Western institutions for several decades.

It has been proven to be safe by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the US National Institutes of Health (NIH), among other reputed research institutions.

It is not surprising therefore that the incidence of using accupressure with pregnant woman is on the rise, as its intrinsic safety is beyond question. Indeed studies have demonstrated that use of accupressure often reduces time spent in labour and has a calming effect on baby.

So not only can acupressure help you to start labor, but it can also dramatically improve your birthing experience – simply and naturally. By knowing which specific points on your body to press, you can quickly go into labor naturally.

So why not use accupressure now to naturally start your labour and who knows but you could be meeting your baby within the next 48 hours!

Infertility can cause so much hassle and anxiety, both individually and as a couple. This health issue has caused a a stigma for couples particularly those who want to have their own families. But the support you get and by learning coping skills will help you and your spouse go through this challenge well as a couple. Here are some ways for coping with infertility:.

The first thing you need to accomplish is educating yourself about infertility. Learn more about the association between stress and infertility. Learn about the condition you are in and find out for more options to heal it.You have to learn how to cope well and learn of ways to improve the relationship as you go through infertility together.

Second would be to talk about your feelings with your spouse. Although people think it’s usual, it may not be easy to tell your spouse about your grief. To try to keep everything in would only mean more stress and anxiety. Plus, this might be the cause of harm towards yourself and your relationship with your spouse in the long run. To be able to speak with your partner about this problem would make you feel not alone in facing the battle.

Third would be to open up to other people.Share the burden and don’t hang on to it.It may appear that the last thing you want to do is tell people about your problem. But this would really help you in coping with infertility. It helps a lot to be able to communicate with other couples who suffer from the same problem you have. Visit group sessions and enjoy yourself.

Fourth is to never blame yourself. This may seem easier said than done but it is very essential that you know that this is not your fault. To blame one’s self is common among couple who suffer from infertility.Everything happens for a reason and it may be hard to understand that right this time but you just have to win the fight.

It can be hard to cope with infertility. As you have the support of family and friends, you would find it less daunting to face this challenge.

In-vitro fertilization also called IVF includes the fertilization of a human egg cell in a lab and implantation of the embryo or the fertilized egg in the uterus or the womb of the woman for pregnancy and birth. Every now and then, an embryo which is a result of an in vitro fertilization will be frozen so as to be used for later IVF implantation.

In-vitro fertilization is a treatment procedure for women who have the difficulty to get pregnant. The procedure is a great aid for conception and for a normal term of pregnancy. This procedure is also used for preventing the transmission of hereditary illnesses. Fertilization will happen not in the test tube, but in small container which is called a perti dish.

Test tube baby is the more common name for the baby that resulted from an in-vitro fertilization. There are a number of procedures that can be followed to come up with a test tube baby.First, the eggs have to be collected from the woman. But before they are to be collected, the woman has to take special medicines to stimulate her ovulation. When the eggs are now ripe, the surgeon performs an operation to extract them.

The next phase in IVF implantation includes that of fertilizing the egg and its development in the laboratory. After the egg’s removal, it is brought to the lab where it’s placed in the laboratory, where it is soaked in the special fluid for around 6 hours. The male partner or a sperm donor then supplies the sperm specimen. This should take place at least 4 hours after the eggs have been collected. The sperm must be especially treated by washing and incubation. They are then mixed with the eggs and left for around 18 hours. In following the procedure, the eggs are then observed if fertilization has taken place. They are all given back to culture for the next 24 hours.

Following the fertilization procedure, the grown fertilized egg will be transferred to the woman’s uterus. To minimize the risk of many pregnancies, only a few eggs are given to the woman.

If you are a man hoping to have a baby, these conceiving tips are for you. If you are a woman who wants to get pregnant, show these conceiving tips to your husband or partner. They could do a lot to increase your chances of conceiving a child.

First, you should know that there is not necessarily a problem just because your partner does not get pregnant right away. With regular frequency of intercourse but no other measures, there is only around a one in five chance of a woman getting pregnant in any one cycle.

This means that the average couple with no fertility problems will conceive after five cycles. Remember, this is only an average. Many couples take longer, just as many couples conceive more quickly.

If you plan to have sex around the time that your partner ovulates, the chances will be increased a little. If you follow our conceiving tips at the same time, you should have a good chance of success.

So what can men do to have a better chance of conceiving a baby? The main thing is to increase the sperm count.

Sperm count is the concentration of sperm in the semen, and it varies widely between different men, or even in the same man tested at different times. The average sperm count is 120 to 350 million sperm per cubic centimeter – a huge range. It’s not considered low until it gets below 40 million.

So even a guy with a normal sperm count can do a few things to increase his chances of one of them hitting the target. Here are a few conceiving tips for increasing the count.

If you ejaculate often, your sperm count is likely to be lower because your body cannot produce replacement sperm fast enough. Try not to ejaculate for about 4 days before the peak time for conceiving in your partner’s monthly cycle.

Keeping the scrotum cool is important for sperm production. Wear boxers and loose pants. Avoid hot baths, and avoid sitting for long periods without moving. If you have a desk job, get up and walk around as often as you can.

Check your zinc levels. Zinc is vital in the production of healthy sperm. There is a simple taste test available to buy that will tell you if you are zinc deficient. Zinc is present in many meats, so this is more likely to be an issue if you are vegetarian or semi-vegetarian.

Exercise regularly. If you are overweight, try to reduce your weight. Eat a healthy diet with plenty of fresh vegetables and fruit to increase antioxidant levels in your body. Take vitamin C supplements.

Finally, try to avoid pollutants, plastics and pesticides, which can mimic the effects of the female hormone estrogen, reducing your sperm production. Because of the effects of industrialization, sperm counts are 50% lower today than they were 50 years ago. So eat organic, avoid storing or wrapping food in plastic or using plastic bottles, protect yourself against chlorine and other chemicals at work.

If you have been trying for a baby for 8-12 months and your partner has not conceived, you should consider seeking advice. In that situation, one or both of you might have a fertility problem. There are many techniques used by medical professionals to assist with conception in cases of low fertility, so not hesitate to see your doctor if you are not having success with these conceiving tips.

The desire to choose baby gender is very strong. It goes back hundreds and thousands of years. In fact, it has probably been around for as long as humans have existed.

Originally, people in most cultures believed that the sex of the child was determined in the mother’s body. That was a natural assumption before science began to investigate the role of men and their sperm in the conception of babies. Women were held responsible for the children that they produced.

This meant that if a woman kept giving birth to daughters when her husband wanted a son, she would be blamed and might be cast out or perhaps even murdered so that he could take another wife. Not surprisingly, she would go to the local wise woman for advice on how to choose baby gender. Every culture had its own superstitions about what a woman should eat, wear or do to increase her chances of conceiving a boy or girl.

Of course all of this was pointless because the sex of a child is determined by the sperm, which is provided by the father. We now know that we have two sex chromosomes: XX for women and XY for men. When a baby is conceived, it receives one from each parent. A woman always contributes an X because that is all she has. The man will have a mixture of sperm, some carrying a copy of his X chromosome and some carrying the Y. If one of his X chromosomes reaches the egg and fertilizes it, the baby will be female. If it is a Y, the baby will be male.

In rare cases, a child can be born with extra chromosome, resulting in what is called XXY or Klinefelter syndrome. This happens in one or two births per thousand. The child is still a boy, because he has received a Y chromosome from his father, but he will have less testosterone than other boys and may be infertile. The extra X chromosome is the result of a fault in cell division soon after conception.

It is not known for sure why some men seem to have children that are all the same gender. But if we assume that the odds of having a boy are 50%, then statistically, in a sample of 100 families who had 4 children, in 6 of those families all 4 children would be the same sex by pure chance. So it does not necessarily mean that the man will never have a child of the other sex.

There are several methods now for choosing the sex of a baby that are much more reliable than the old superstitions. One well known method relies on timing: couples wanting a boy should have intercourse at the time of ovulation, couples wanting a girl should try a few days earlier.

It is also now possible to sort sperm so that those carrying the X chromosome are separated from those carrying the Y chromosome. Sperm of the chosen gender can then be introduced to the woman’s body by intra uterine insemination. This is an expensive procedure but it may be worthwhile if you very much want to choose baby gender.

A fertility calendar is a way to check and record the dates of your menstrual cycle. You can find a free online fertility calendar which allows you to record your details. Then it gives you an indication of when your next ovulation will be.

However, there is nothing here that you cannot do yourself with a simple wall calendar or diary. The questions you will be asked will just be:

1. When was the first day of your last period?

2. How long is your cycle?

If you know the answer to these questions, you can very easily calculate your ovulation date for yourself without the need for an online fertility calendar.

The fertility calendar takes the ovulation date as being 14 days before the start of your next period. So all you need to do to figure out the date for yourself, is mark on your calendar the date that your last period started. Then figure out when your next period is due to start, according to the usual date of your cycle. Count back 14 days from that date, and you have your predicted ovulation date.

However, this method of calculating your ovulation date is not at all accurate. First, it relies on you having a regular cycle, which many women do not have. If your cycle varies by more than a day or two each time, you cannot predict your ovulation date accurately this way.

Even for women who do have a regular cycle most of the time, you will probably find that certain factors can either delay your period or bring it on early. These factors include stress, strict diets, travel, and some illnesses. All of these factors can affect your ovulation date too.

This method also assumes that you will ovulate exactly 14 days before the start of your next period. This is also something that can vary in different women or during different cycles, although not usually as much as the length of the cycle.

So altogether, this is a very unreliable way of trying to predict the date of your ovulation. There are much better ways than using a fertility calendar.

If you want to understand the cycles of your own body and know with more accuracy when you are likely to get pregnant, try other methods such as charting your temperature or using an ovulation test kit. The kit measures the levels of luteinizing hormone in your urine each day, and this is probably the best method of measuring your fertility.

Even if you do have a regular cycle, it is a good idea to track your ovulation in relation to your menstrual periods for at least a couple of months using either a thermometer or a urine test kit. This will show you whether you do in fact ovulate 14 days before the start of your next period.

You might find that you regularly have a 30 day cycle with ovulation 13 days before your next period starts, for example. Then you can use your own actual data to predict your ovulation dates for the future. This will give you a little more accuracy when using a fertility calendar.

Clearblue (R) are well known for producing pregnancy test kits, but they also offer the Clearblue fertility monitor to help you know when you are most likely to get pregnant. This kind of tool is great for anybody who is trying to conceive. It makes the process much more predictable and helps you to know exactly what is going on in your body.

Unlike some other test kits, the Clearblue fertility monitor measures two different hormones in order to determine when you are ovulating. Many kits only track luteinizing hormone or LH, giving you a ‘window’ of two days when you are most fertile. By tracking a second hormone alongside LH, Clearblue says that their Easy Fertility Monitor is able to identify up to 6 fertile days per month.

Of course, this does not mean that you are actually fertile for longer. Strictly speaking, a woman is only fertile for 12-24 hours a month, during the time when the released egg is in the fallopian tubes. However, sperm can survive for anything for 3 to 7 days in the right conditions. So when ovulation occurs, the egg may be fertilized by sperm that already entered the woman’s body during sex several days earlier.

Changes in the woman’s hormone levels make her body create these ideal conditions so that she can keep the sperm alive until the egg is released. This is why tracking your hormones with an ovulation monitor can help you to identify how many fertile days you may have.

This means that you have more flexibility in planning your attempts to conceive, so you can both be more relaxed about it. Having a relaxed approach is a very important factor in conception. Being stressed can even stop you getting pregnant. So all these factors could help you to conceive the baby that you want.

The Clearblue Fertility Monitor is a hand-held device that reads the hormone levels from a urine test. You will need to use the first urine passed each morning for the test. Read the full instructions that come with the kit to know exactly how to use it. The monitor will then tell you whether this is a Low, High or Peak fertility day. Peak days give you the best chance of getting pregnant.

Understanding your fertility cycle has many advantages in addition to helping you conceive a baby. Usually, we think of the menstrual cycle, which just revolves around the outward sign of the menstrual period. That’s a kind of negative way of considering your cycle.

If you think of it as your fertility cycle instead, it takes on a new, exciting and largely unknown dimension. You will be focusing on the positive, looking for signs of ovulation and tracking the changes in your hormone levels through the month. The Clearblue fertility monitor and similar tools can help you do this so that you have the chance to develop a much more positive approach to the rhythms of your body.
