You wonder how birth for him is. How a normal baby looks, how will he react in is first hours of life. Let’s answer some of these questions.

1. What does birth mean for the baby?
Imagine you are in a place in total security, warmth and without pain or any discomfort at all and suddenly from there you seem to get pushed and thrown into a world of intense sensations: light, cold, smells, noises. Your back is for the first time straight and your lungs fell funny and burn a little. And now imagine that you are going back to that universe of warmth; you feel the mother’s skin and that feeling of safety when in her arms. in an ideal world the baby has just a few moments of the hush reality before he is returned to his mother’s arms.

2. How is the baby going to look like?

His head might seem a little too big. He might have a pink or darken color or his hands and feet might be a little blue. All this is normal and the stains and strange colors will disappear in 24-48 hours.

3. What does the baby feel in his first hours?

The first hour from the life of your baby is critical. The transaction to the real life is hard and he has to adjust. If you need to know more, ask the doctor and the nurse about what they are doing to him and their results. You are allowed to ask and receive answers, after all it is your baby.

4. When is the right time to get close to the baby?

The baby can make contact with the mother just after the few moments in which he is going to cry. If the room is not too bright, he will open his eyes and concentrate on his mother’s face.

5. Is it normal for a baby to want to go the sleep right after birth?

Birth is an exhausting experience and after an hour passes the mother and the baby must be left to sleep for a couple of hours. Also it is not unusual for the baby to sleep 4-8 hours more; maybe he will awake from time to time to get some food.

The First Moments Of Your Babys Life is a post from: Pregnancy and Childbirth Guide

Childbirth Self-Education

Childbirth

Birth Plan

Birthing Plan

Childbirth Class

Childbirth Classes

Childbirth Education Classes

Childbirth Experience

Childbirth Preparation

Distant Memory

Fact That People

Fear Of The Unknown

First Timers

Having A Baby

Having Babies

Labor And Delivery

Lamaze Classes

Little Consolation

Modern Science

Self Education

Third Trimester

Time Mother

The idea of childbirth can be frightening to someone who is pregnant for the first time. A pregnancy typically takes between 38 and 42 weeks and while many say that most first timers tend to have their babies past their due date, anything can happen so it’s best to be prepared for childbirth. Modern science can give women many advantages over their ancestors with respect to having a baby and many women take advantage of these options. Don’t spend your 38 to 42 weeks worrying about childbirth; instead do your best to educate yourself on the process and on how to care for your child once it is born.

Many hospitals and communities offer classes to help for childbirth preparation in the third trimester but you can find a wealth of information in your local library as well as online. Every woman’s childbirth experience is different regardless of preparation but preparation can bring you knowledge and power. Despite the fact that people will tell you that women have been having babies since the dawning of man, this is little consolation to most women. The fear of the unknown is frightening but knowledge can bring you at least a small sense of control over your situation. Many women take part in their birthing plan and tell their doctor or midwife how they would like to proceed with the birth of their baby if all goes well. While complications can sometimes limit your choices with childbirth, you can explore various options for your birth plan.

Taking childbirth education classes, Lamaze classes, hiring a doula and reading information can all help to prepare you for childbirth. While the idea of childbirth and labor can be frightening for a first-time mother, the end result will be all worth it. When you hold your new baby in your arms, any pain or discomfort will likely be a distant memory.

Learning all you can about the process of labor and delivery can help you to prepare for childbirth and many women find that a Lamaze or childbirth class will ease their mind by helping them know what to prepare for. Having a childbirth coach such as your spouse, significant other or even just a close friend can help you immensely throughout the process.

While some women elect to have natural childbirth, others opt for a water birth or home birth. The common denominator is that each labor and delivery experience will be different. While you may have a pre conceived notion about the type of experience you would like to have for the birth of your children, many factors and variables could impact that. The end result is the most important part of all of this and the birth of your baby will make it all worthwhile.

Childbirth Self-Education is a post from: Pregnancy and Childbirth Guide

Childbirth Cartoons and Other Cheerful Ideas

Childbirth

Baby Showers

Best Medicine

Coffee Mugs

Cross Stitches

E Mail

Free Cartoons

Funny Cartoons

Homemade Gifts

Homemade Greeting Cards

Humorous Greeting Card

Joke Books

Mouse Pads

Novelty Gifts

Online Resources

Plethora

Pregnancy And Childbirth

Pregnancy Childbirth

Pregnant Girlfriend

Pregnant Woman

Shower Decorations

Are you in search of childbirth cartoons online? It can prepare you for what’s about to take place in your life. It can help you with pain management. It can help you with basic parenting skills. It gives you an opportunity to ask questions and hear other people’s questions. Childbirth classes also give your spouse or partner an opportunity to learn as well.

Many childbirth classes take place in the third trimester of your pregnancy.
While many women spend their pregnancy learning all about what’s happening to their body and what is going to take place during childbirth, classes can help a partner who isn’t as interested in opening a book or reading a pregnancy information website. A hands on class can show movies, teach you pain management techniques and even train you on basic parenting care. You’ll likely learn a lot about different birth techniques and parenting options as well as information about your body and recuperation time.

There are plenty of different types of childbirth classes to choose from. Your local hospital or clinic may offer childbirth classes. Your local Laleche league can also help you find local Lamaze classes and the Internet will provide you with a lot of valuable information on books and other resources related to methods taught in childbirth classes.

Doing all you can to prepare yourself for what lies ahead is a smart idea. Many women who take Lamaze classes, for instance, report being able to deal with the pain of childbirth easier. Many people that want to have a natural childbirth without medication learn from these teachings how to breathe and focus during a painful contraction to help them cope.

Childbirth classes most likely will teach you about basic newborn care as well. Learning to diaper and feed a baby, learning the basics of breastfeeding, knowing how to care for a baby’s umbilical cord or look after them after a circumcision are all things that you might be able to learn about. Before enrolling in childbirth classes, it’s important to understand what the class structure is and what will be covered so you know if it’s the right class for you.

Whether you are in a class taught by a Lamaze instructor, lactation consultant, midwife or doula, you will likely benefit from the experience, as will your spouse or significant other.

Your pregnancy is a time that should be spent looking after your self and preparing for the birth of your child. Whether you choose to educate yourself on the internet, by reading books or by attending childbirth classes, be sure to do all that you can to enjoy your pregnancy and the miracle of life inside you.

The Benefits of Taking Childbirth Classes is a post from: Pregnancy and Childbirth Guide

Childbirth Education For The Pregnant Woman

Childbirth

Bundle Of Joy

Childbirth Education

Childbirth Preparation

Doula

Education Information

Education Websites

Feeling Unwell

Home Birth

Hospital Birth

Joy Of Pregnancy

Joyous Time

Lamaze Classes

Natural Childbirth

Obstetrician

Parenting Class

Parenting Education

Pregn

Pregnant Woman

Second Trimester

Water Birth

A woman who becomes pregnant for the first time should look for childbirth education information as soon as possible. Learning everything she can about the childbirth process can help equip her to make the best choices for her prenatal care and childbirth preparation. It may be an overwhelming time emotionally but education will help you prepare for the unknown.

Childbirth education can come from many different sources. It can come from books, from the Internet, from pamphlets at your medical center, or via asking questions of your doctor, midwife or doula and talking to other people. The childbirth education process should be an informative and fun part of pregnancy. Learning about what’s to come and making choices should all be part of the joy of pregnancy.

Whether your pregnancy is planned or whether it is of great surprise to you , the almost nine months ahead should be a joyous time. Learning about parenting, educating yourself on the choices you have and talking to people about your upcoming bundle of joy are all part of the
childbirth education and parenting education process. While you may go through periods of feeling unwell in your first trimester, your second trimester may be a healthly and vibrant time for you.

Plans for how you will go through childbirth may be on your mind. There are childbirth education websites and books that will tell you all about the various birth processes you can choose from. You might have options of a midwife, a family doctor or an obstetrician. You might choose a home birth, a water birth or a traditional hospital birth. You may want to try to have natural childbirth. Perhaps you’re going to plan to take Lamaze classes or hire a doula to help you prepare. There are many choices open to you and the more childbirth education you have, the better equipped you will be to make choices.

Beyond childbirth education, you want parenting education as well. Whether it’s a parenting class or just talking to other pregnant women on forums and reading books about childbirth and pregnancy, learning and educating yourself is a smart thing to do in preparation for your baby’s arrival.

If you don’t have constant access to the Internet at home, most public libraries will lend you books and you’ll find an entire section devoted to parenting and childbirth education. Most libraries also have free Internet use as well. Also, talking to other women who have had babies will likely result in their sharing books, resources and information with you about their experience as well.

Childbirth Education For The Pregnant Woman is a post from: Pregnancy and Childbirth Guide

Childbirth Footage

Childbirth

Birth Plan

Breach

C Sections

Childbirth Video

Choices

Doula

Emotion

Emotional Element

Homework

Insight

Medication

Midwife

Multiple Births

Personal

Planning A Pregnancy

Planning Stage

Planning Stages

Pregnancy Stages

Water Birth

Women And Men

Taking childbirth footage is a personal choice. Many women and men want the birth of their baby to be something they can watch and share. Other people don’t want to videotape their childbirth but may want to experience watching someone else’s birth. Some people make a private video while others are happy to show it to other people. There are many places online where childbirth footage is available to view or download. Regardless of your personal choice, the information online can be helpful to you in many ways.

Perhaps you want to view childbirth footage for educational purporses. Or, you might be fascinated about the process due to being pregnant yourself. Many women in the planning stage want to prepare for their own childbirth so watching childbirth footage can be like homework for them. A childbirth video can give you insight into situations such as breach births, c-sections, multiple births or even just the process in general. There’s also an emotional element to watching these and seeing the associated love and relief and emotion can be heart warming.

When you’re pregnant or planning a pregnancy, you might want to view childbirth footage to make choices about your own birth plan. A birth plan is something that many women write up to share with their partner and doctor about how they would like to experience childbirth. While many factors are not within your control, you can make your plans and wishes known.

A birth plan might indicate what type of medication you are or are not willing to take. A birth plan might go over details about your baby’s name, clothing and things that you need for your hospital bag. IT might include a water birth or assistance from a doula or midwife. A birth plan might include your own plan to videotape childbirth footage of your experience that you may or may not share on the Internet as well.

Sharing your childbirth footage can help other people in the planning stages or pregnancy stages of their experience. Some people are fascinated by the miracle of life and enjoy watching childbirth footage for the emotional surge it gives you to see a new life born and a new family instantly bond.

If you are planning your own video, watching childbirth footage can help you come up with ideas for your own version. Whether you are planning to video tape the entire birth or just portions of it, it’s a great idea to see what others are doing so that you can gather ideas. Many people joke that only a woman could bear the pain of delivering children, those women have the pain threshold for it. This can be scary when you’ve never faced that pain and don’t know what to expect. Fear of the unknown can be the most frightening part of the childhood process so knowledge is your best weapon against that fear. Learn everything you can about what your body will go through during pregnancy as well as childbirth. Although the potential for a painful childbirth is certainly possible, there are ways to avoid pain through use of medication as well as pain management techniques if you prefer a natural childbirth.

One popular saying goes that a woman will forget the painful childbirth as soon as she looks into her baby’s eyes. If you are concerned about pain during childbirth, you can find out a lot of information about pain management. Lamaze techniques can deal with pain management and most areas have Lamaze classes for women to take during their third trimester of pregnancy.

If you are worried about having a painful childbirth to the point that you are fearful of pregnancy or are plagued with such worries that you are having trouble enjoying your pregnancy, it’s a good idea to speak with your doctor. You need to know what pain medications and techniques will be available for you during labor in order to ease your mind and reduce your stress.

Some women elect to have an epidural during their labor and childbirth, which numbs your body from the waist down. You can feel some sensation but pain is largely diminished and even eliminated. Other medications such as Demerol can be given during childbirth as well. Some women have Epimorph during their delivery, as in a cesarean section to help them with pain after childbirth. In an Epimorph, Morphine is used in conjunction with the Epidural to provide pain relief without the grogginess associated with regular morphine injections.

If painful childbirth fears are plaguing you, it’s important to read birth stories, obtain information and talk to other women about your expectations. Every woman is different. She will have different a different pain threshold than another woman and different pain management techniques. A painful childbirth, if it occurs will not be with you indefinitely. When it is over, you will have a beautiful baby of your own to show for your efforts. Having spousal support during childbirth can help as well as learning relaxation and pain management techniques. Talk to your doctor or midwife about your fears so that they can help you feel as comfortable during your labor as possible.

Fear Of Painful Childbirth is a post from: Pregnancy and Childbirth Guide
